Hardcore GamerKyle LeClairJun 20164/5You will die in Wasted. You will die a lot, it is a given. But thanks to its easy-to-learn, enjoyable gameplay, great use of roguelike elements and perfectly implemented Thunderdome-esque 1980s atmosphere, you will easily find yourself coming back again and again, ready to cough up more extra lives like the the arcade games of its era.

Saving ContentScott Ellison IIJun 20163/5 starsWASTED is a roguelike, but is definitely one of the better ones out there. Its loot system and randomly generated levels leave a lot to be desired, but this is the creation of one-man who has generated a lot of entertaining places to visit, people to talk to, items to craft, and loot to find. It’s also difficult, wanting to kill the player every opportunity it has. WASTED has a misanthropic charm I can get behind.
