I did not expect Live from the Lycett Arms to hit this hard. The comedy lands again and again. It is kind to its people, and that kindness is the point. Straight onto my favourites.
Mostly about the performances.

Solid, and in places better than solid. Epic in the old sense, and it holds all of it together. Not perfect, but it stays with you.
Mostly about the story, memory.
Animatic Vision at the top of their game with Mutants Ate My Carrots. Trashy in all the right ways. Cool and controlled, which makes the few swells hit harder.
Mostly about the craft.
Serafini Productions at the top of their game with BrokenLore: Don't Watch. Unsparing in a way that feels honest. A small canvas, painted with enormous care. Believe the hype on this one.

I finished Bad Thoughts and just sat there for a while. The setting stays sketched, so the people stay in focus. Already want to watch it again.
Mostly about the performances, comfort.
Netmarble Neo at the top of their game with Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. The sheer scope of it is breathtaking. Rarely does something land this completely.
Mostly about the craft.
Kindness as a product. I wanted to like it more than the show wanted to be liked, which is saying something.
Films, series, books, albums, games. Skip anything you haven't met.

Which one are you? The test above will tell you.
A taste fingerprint: fourteen dimensions, read against every other Bud. Yours appears after a handful of ratings.
Forrest Gump1994Epic, effortless, nostalgic and meticulous.
Not a genre label: how it moves, how it feels, what it asks of you. Every film, series, book, album and game is read on the same fourteen scales, each in its own terms (a record's tempo and sound, a game's challenge and world), and your profile is matched against them.
A procedural that turns into a sermon and somehow gets better for it. That box.
Mostly about the story, comfort.
