PES 2015 is centered on the mantra 'the pitch is ours.' Through the combined efforts of the Tokyo and Windsor-based PES Productions team, the heart-thumping and nail-biting moments of top-flight football have been perfectly recreated.

EurogamerNick AkermanNov 20149/10FIFA and PES seem to have swapped shirts, with neither catering to the original audience they once set out to attract. Based on this year's offerings, though, it's PES that has the clearer direction of where it's headed. Perhaps most tellingly of all, PES 2015 is more satisfying in defeat than FIFA 15 is in victory.

GamesRadar+Asim TanvirNov 20144.5/5 starsModes and presentation still need some work, but Konami has finally delivered with the gameplay. On the pitch, where it matters, PES 2015 has a clear edge over FIFA 15.

GameWatcherNick HorthDec 20146/10If you have a console, get Pro Evo 2015 on that. If you're a PC-only football fan, this is a functional if lacklustre port of a great match engine with broken online support.

Cubed3Robert BlowesFeb 20156/10Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 does things by halves; it is simply not polished enough, nor good enough. Konami needs to go back to basics, stop adding things to the game, and perfect the very foundation of it because, at the moment, everything seems to be flawed. For every 'Ooh that's awesome' moment, there is another, glaring 'Is that it?' moment. In the grand scheme of things, it is an average package but a decent football game.
