DualShockersEthan KriegerSep 20258.5/10LEGO Party! stands tall as one of the best games ever in the competitive board game-style genre. Sure, it's derivative of Mario Party, but it also improves on many games in that series in a multitude of ways.

NintendoWorldReportNeal RonaghanNov 20259/10My oldest (7 years old) has played countless rounds by himself. We've played tons of rounds together as a family and LEGO Party has been a consistently fun time. I still don't really know what the plot of Ninjago is, but I'm still having a blast playing this virtual board game.

GameSpewKim SnaithOct 20259/10Undoubtedly one of the best family party games we've ever played, LEGO Party! is beautifully presented and an absolute riot to play. With game boards made entirely out of LEGO bricks and a suite of brilliant minigames, it gives Mario Party a good run for its money.

Cubed3Nov 20256/10It is easy to fall in love at first glance with Lego Party. It is a game that many have unknowingly been waiting for, and its presentation and first impression are on a whole different level. It feels like a perfect match for anyone seeking an exceptional digital party game. However, once the honeymoon phase is over, all the flaws start to appear, and they become too much. Poor controls, extremely small boards, and a mix of mini-games that feel disjointed make this a challenging title to recommend. It has some wonderful ideas and a solid foundation to build upon, but it falls short in executing the details.

Digitally DownloadedMatt SainsburyOct 20253/5 starsPerhaps part of the issue is that I played it on a Nintendo console, when I have the alternative sitting right there on the hard drive. On other platforms that don’t have a Mario Party, I can see this resonating more strongly. Unfortunately, though, I can’t see it being a particularly memorable experience for anyone in the long term.
