LadiesGamers.comJames LuffJun 2026Unrailed 2: Back on Track is exactly the sequel I was hoping for. It preserves everything that made the original special while introducing enough new ideas to justify its existence. The deeper progression systems, boss encounters, expanded customisation, improved solo experience, and increased variety all help elevate what was already a fantastic concept. Most importantly, it never loses sight of what made the first game so enjoyable: the simple joy of working together to build a railway before disaster strikes. Whether you’re playing alone, with family, or with a group of friends shouting instructions at one another across the sofa, there’s an incredible amount of fun to be found here. If you loved the original, this is an easy recommendation. If you’ve never played Unrailed before, this is arguably the best place to start. Train building has rarely been this frantic, this funny, or this satisfying.

NoobFeedMymunah TasnimJun 202683/100Unrailed 2: Back on Track is a fitting follow-up to a game that already had a loyal following behind it. Expanding the core idea with more biomes, a deeper upgrade system, boss encounters, Terrain Conductor mode, and a genuinely improved attempt at solo play, all wrapped in a colorful, chaotic package that's easy to pick up and hard to master cleanly.

Rapid Reviews UKJonathan OberJun 20264/5 starsUnrailed 2: Back on Track upgrades everything from the original game and multiples things to the nth degree. The amount of fun you will have might be determined by your friend group or online partners you match with. The fun and shenanigans and out of pocket yelling matches reminded me of games like Overcooked and Moving Out which put you alongside friends to work together.
