Haste is a fast-paced running game where you race to reach the portal at the end of a collapsing universe. Run through an infinite amount of levels where no world is ever the same. Between each attempt to complete your run you have the chance to explore a hub world, gather your strength, meet characters and practice your skills before heading out for another adventure. Each run has its own unique challenges with clues to figure out why the worlds are breaking apart.

WayTooManyGamesLeonardo FariaMay 20259/10My summarised answer as to whether or not you should pick up Haste is: “yeah, duh”. Do it right away. It stands out from a sea of generic roguelites by being completely focused on just a few core concepts, namely momentum, speed, and platforming. Thankfully, Haste delivers in all of these aspects, so what we have here is an incredibly charming game that is easy to pick up, hard to master, and even harder for you to stop playing.

But Why Tho?Matt SowinskiApr 20259/10HASTE Broken Worlds is fantastic. It’s a constant assault on the senses in the best way. It immerses you in its world as the player looks forward to the next run. Its sense of speed and momentum is unrivaled, even beating out a certain blue hedgehog.

TheReviewGeekGreg WheelerApr 20257.5/10Fast, high-octane action and an addictively moreish premise; Haste is an experiment that really shouldn’t work but absolutely does. It’s certainly not perfect, but what’s here makes this one of 2025’s best arcade games so far.

Game8Uriel RodriguezApr 202576/100HASTE: Broken Worlds is exactly what 3D Sonic games should strive for—blazing speed, pinpoint precision, and the rush of mastering a deceptively brutal parkour system. Gotta go fast? More like gotta go HASTE.
