CGMagazineElias BlondeauOct 20169/10Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a potent Genki Dama to the series’ longstanding issues, and a bigger, better game than the original by every stretch of the imagination. A true must-have for any Dragon Ball fan.

GameZoneMike SplechtaOct 20169/10Having played a whole bunch of Xenoverse, even through the frustrations of its horrible RNG systems, I can safely say that Xenoverse 2 is an improvement on all fronts.

NoobFeedAhnaf TajwarJul 202495/100Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a masterful and engaging addition to the Dragon Ball franchise. There is nothing quite like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and it surpasses expectations for any fan of Dragon Ball. Creating and training your own character, reliving iconic moments with a twist in the same vein as Marvel’s “What if…?”, and exploring the ever-expanding content keeps the game fresh and exciting while capturing the true essence of the Dragon Ball universe.

Hardcore GamerAdam BeckSep 20173/5Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was an entertaining but flawed game when it was released last year and it remains such on Nintendo Switch. If anything, this port feels like the worst version to pick up, with numerous graphical sacrifices and severe frame rate issues in the hub city whilst playing on the handheld mode.

Game RevolutionJames KozanitisOct 20163/5 starsDragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is the perfect game for someone who has never played Dragon Ball Xenoverse. It's little more than a remaster with an updated hub city, and, while that may be enough for some faithfuls, this game is much better experienced as a first-time DBX player. Untainted by the realization that you've done this all before, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be a good buy. Beyond that, Bandai Namco has essentially hit the rewind button.
