Forrest Gump1994Epic, effortless, nostalgic and meticulous.
Not a genre label: how it moves, how it feels, what it asks of you. Every film, series, book, album and game is read on the same fourteen scales, each in its own terms (a record's tempo and sound, a game's challenge and world), and your profile is matched against them.

Mostly about the performances.

Everything I hoped Jia Zhangke's Dance would be, and more. Every choice feels considered. Straight onto my favourites.
Mostly about the craft.
The Day She Returns got under my skin. Every choice feels considered. Go in knowing as little as you can.
Mostly about the craft.
