Nindie SpotlightJustin NationMar 20245.4/10You can easily see the ambition in this online PvP zombie apocalypse game, but it’s hard to get over its jankiness

The Switch EffectRichard Heaton Apr 20241.5/5Unfortunately it’s just not enough to warrant the price tag. Unturned is 100 percent a game that you should check out but it’s not worth the $25 for the Switch version. If you want to play it, just get on Steam and download the game for free. It’s a great game but not a great game on the Switch.

Movies Games and TechCade DavieJan 20211/10Again, I don’t want to be a bully, but this game is simply unfinished. I should point out that there is no end goal either. The game expects you to run around, loot, kill zombies, and build a base forever. Perhaps you and a friend or two could have a bit of fun playing with one another, but that just means you have fun friends. With such a mindlessly repetitive, uninspired, and predictable gameplay loop and my now go-to example of horrible visuals, Unturned is, like a zombie, better off dead.
