CryMor GamingMar 2018Apex Construct does everything that a VR game should. It is designed for single-player, it is designed specifically for VR, it has a story, and it has fluid controls... unless you play it on PSVR. The majority of journalists have complained about the controls in this game but it's an entirely different (and great) experience on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. It's probably the best VR game ever made. Imagine Horizon Zero Dawn in VR with a bit of Bioshock thrown in.

The PlayStation BrahsBrandon MayflowerFeb 2018Apex Construct like I said was built from the ground up for VR and it shows. You can tell the team cares for and has this passion for Virtual Reality. I have always said that VR allows us to escape from our reality. When you can escape to a world and makes you start questioning what is going on and is it really up to me and start to question humanities actions, then something is right. Apex Construct gives us just that, an escape to a world, even if it may be a world like ours that is ripped apart and what could possibly happen and shows us why we should appreciate VR.

GamePittRob PittFeb 20189/10Apex Construct is a must have PSVR title. The story is interesting and always leaves you with a feeling that you don't know who to trust, the puzzles and exploration are great for a VR title, and the combat, whilst a bit clunky to begin with, is actually surprisingly solid once you're used to it. There is plenty of replayability with all of the secrets hidden away and areas which demand you to go back on yourself and the game actually does a great job of making you want more, not for trophies but because you are interested.

TechRaptorSamuel GuglielmoMar 20183/10Apex Construct has an interesting set up and some great visuals, but falls apart quickly thanks to poor gameplay, frustrating systems, many glitches, and a story that goes nowhere.

FingerGunsPaul CollettFeb 20184/10I like the ideas that Apex Construct tries to achieve but none of them gel often enough to be a truly enjoyable experience. The story and the world (and Ultron) are the highlights and graphically it's in the top tier of PSVR games. Should developers Fast Travel Games decide to do a sequel then there needs to be a lot of polishing to be done. I guess Apex Construct is a prime example of VR's best and worst qualities.
