GameOnAUSChris InglisFeb 2021The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav is a fantastic point-and-click adventure game that does not feel at all 9-years old. I played this on the Xbox and it was a great experience, though the control mechanisms were clunky from time to time. The hand-drawn art is amazingly detailed and with the game’s music, sets the mood perfectly.

FingerGunsSean DaviesFeb 20215/10The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav has glimpses of ingenuity with its puzzle design, it looks great for its age and it has a satisfactory port of a point and click system on the PS4. Unfortunately, the story doesn’t pay off, often feeling disjointed along the way which isn’t helped by some uninspired vocal performances. Hopefully the sequel is better.

SoftpediaCosmin VasileFeb 20216/10If you are a point and click adventure fan going through a dry spell, it may be worth picking up Chains of Satinav to fill a winter weekend, when you would just rather stay inside. If you just discover this videogame genre there are far better options out there to immerse yourself in.
