This second installment of the mashup of classic Nintendo games. NES Remix 2 features challenges from later NES games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby’s Adventure and Metroid. Just like NES Remix, the sequel includes stages from the original games with new challenges, as well as modified stages that introduce new elements.

GamingTrendRon BurkeApr 201485/100NES Remix 2 reminds us of the challenges of our youth. With bite size nibbles of the most challenging or salient aspects of what made these games great, NES Remix 2 also delivers more iconic and well-recognized games from the library that made Nintendo famous. Ice Climbers takes a back seat to the far superior Metroid, and Kid Icarus replaces Balloon Fight, and Zelda II: The Adventures of Link makes Wrecking Crew look silly. A far superior installment in this series, NES Remix 2 improves on it's predecessor in every way.

GameTrailersRyan StevensApr 20148.1/10Simply stated, NES Remix 2 is a real sequel's sequel, with stronger games, weirder remixes and better bonuses. Players who'd like an interactive history lesson and anyone with fondness for old-school Nintendo could do far worse than romancing these ROMs.

Kill ScreenErik FrednerApr 201450/100If NES Remix were a DJ, it wouldn't be Danger Mouse tearing up The Grey Album—it would be that guy in your dorm who insisted on DJing at college parties but couldn't bear to play a single song all the way through.
