DualShockersShane LimbaughJun 20267.5/10Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains is a fantastic version of Monopoly that switches up the tried and true formula for something experimental and new. Aside from some balance issues, the game has something for fans of the series to enjoy, and non-fans can still get a kick out of conquering the galaxy.

Video ChumsA.J. MaciejewskiJul 20266.2/10Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains is full of Star Wars flashiness and some truly innovative mechanics that really mix things up. At the same time, the random nature of its gameplay systems and team-based approach make it less fun than it could have been. 🎲

Rapid Reviews UKJul 20263/5 starsMonopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs Villains offers variety in its cast of characters and the unpredictability of human opponents and dice rolls. However it struggles to generate meaningful long-term replay-ability. Too much of each match hinges on the roll of the dice, while GO events can alter the course of play in a significant way. As a result, each game feels different in outcome, but not necessarily in experience. It’s enjoyable to revisit with friends on occasion, yet it lacks evolving systems and gameplay, that would bring strategic depth to encourage continuous play.
