VirtuaVerse is a cyberpunk point & click adventure set in the future not so far away; one where Artificial Intelligence prevailed above all other AI's and their governments and society has migrated to a permanently integrated reality. In your quest around the world, you will have to walk across hardware graveyards, deal with digital archeology, tribes of cryptoshamans, and virtual reality debauchery.

GamingTrendBen LombardoMay 202090/100VirtuaVerse is a low cost, high content title with one of the best stories available in the cyberpunk game genre. The visuals are top tier, as is the soundtrack, and it's very easy to get hooked on this point and click title. However, you might need a guide to complete this one, as it's pretty easy to get stuck or lost on your objective.

8Bit/DigiStan RezaeeMay 20208/10VirtuaVerse is a cyberpunk point and click experience that is more of a love letter to the genres along with an era of gaming. This is a work that loves both genres and gamers will equally appreciate the journey.

Checkpoint GamingEdie W-KMay 20206/10The premise, art, music, and potential are all fantastic. But when it came time to actively engage with the game, I was hindered by unremarkable characters and poorly-conveyed puzzles.

Cubed3Chris LeebodyJan 20216/10VirtuaVerse isn't all bad. It is a solid 10-plus hour plot that is a clear homage to some of the best portrayals of this dystopian vision of a futuristic world. There are a few nice set pieces here and there, and from a graphical standpoint, the visuals pop on the screen and are incredibly memorable. Likewise, the musical score compliments them ideally. However, this is an adventure that never gets off the ground thanks to lacklustre main characters, forgettable dialogue, and a clichéd plot. Worse still, the puzzling point-and-click adventure aspects of gameplay detract from the above more often than they enhance.
