Netto’s Game RoomJoonatan SyrjätieMay 20265/5 starsBubsy 4D manages to be a consistent, well-paced platformer that doesn't waste your time. It encourages you to master its mechanics while providing smooth controls and a great soundtrack. I honestly can't believe I'm saying this, but I legitimately like Bubsy now. That says everything about what Fabraz managed to accomplish; they didn't just break this bobcat's curse, they made him an underdog worth rooting for.

NintendoWorldReportWillem HilhorstMay 20269/10If you had told me that one day Bubsy would be part of the 3D platformer renaissance I, and many others, would've laughed you out of the room. But here we are. It's Bubsy's world once more and we are just living in it.

COGconnectedJames PaleyMay 202683/100Although the bar is comically low, this game absolutely clears it. Bubsy 4D is easily the best game in the franchise.

Game InformerWesley LeBlancMay 20264/10If Bubsy 4D is an attempt to bring new players to this 33-year-old franchise, though, its poor level design, characterization, and platforming will ensure it won’t.

ShacknewsLucas WhiteMay 20264/10Bubsy 4D is, straight up, a bad time. It’s fun to jump around a little bit and play with the tools you get, but in a fleeting, shallow way that isn’t enough to sustain a multi-hour platforming video game.
