Nintendo LifeOliver ReynoldsJun 20259/10Fast Fusion may not have the most comprehensive collection of tracks, but it's easily the most accomplished entry in Shin'en Multimedia's series so far. The new jump ability adds a new layer of strategy to the gameplay, while experimenting with the fusion mechanic to find the perfect vehicle is a joy. The occasional grinding to save up money can be a momentary drag, but if you're after something a bit more 'hardcore' than Mario Kart World, Fast Fusion is a no-brainer, and an absolute must-buy.

TheSixthAxisDominic LeightonJun 20259/10Fast Fusion should be an instant buy for new Nintendo Switch 2 owners, providing an incredible dose of futuristic racing and a great graphical showcase for the new console at a bargain price.

SelectButtonKevin MitchellJun 20259/10Fast Fusion gives me plenty to recommend beyond being something to show off on a new console. The racing is exciting, the courses look great, and the vehicle combinations and jumping make learning the game more rewarding. I'd like fewer interruptions from the credit system and more ways to race online, but the core experience is strong enough that those complaints don't overshadow it. Shin'en has delivered another excellent launch racer.
