Sports Gamers OnlineNov 20169/10I'm not saying you will get 50 hours of gameplay from Party Golf. I'm not saying it's a technical marvel. But it is the perfect title for a change of pace, and it is very addictive and competitive. But most importantly it nails the most crucial aspect of being a game; it is so much fun.

Nintendo LifeRyan CraddockOct 20178/10To answer our initial question of whether or not Party Golf can successfully join the eShop's masterful collection of multiplayer goodness: quite simply, yes. The amount of customisation options are mind-blowing and essentially allow you to make the game be whatever you want it to be. The asking price at launch feels just a tad steep (a bit more polish and a slightly higher level of presentation wouldn't go amiss) but, with the right friends around you, you'll be having so much fun laughing at each other's mistakes that you'll hardly care.

NintendoWorldReportPerry BurkumOct 20178/10Whether taking the experience on the go or playing on the TV, the Switch's Joy-Cons are ideal for a quick session (hold down + on the Main menu to toggle the option to use a single Joy-Con). If all you want is a quick multiplayer no-nonsense game, that exists here too with the "Quick Game'. For a crazy absolutely nonsensical game to explore with a bunch of friends, you've come to the right place.

Digitally DownloadedOct 20163/5 starsWhilst there’s an admirable amount of content and game modes on offer here, I would’ve liked to see a more varied experience overall which could capture a group’s attention for a bit longer. That being said, Giant Margarita has proved that it knows its stuff, and we’re excited to see what the team brings to the table next time.

Nintendo InsiderRyan JanesOct 20177/10As a single player experience, Party Golf makes for a tougher recommendation, the overly simplistic gameplay wearing thin quickly and its trials not offering enough to hold your attention. If you’re looking for a simple, pick up and play, frantic multiplayer game though, then Party Golf should offer enough laughs to keep you and your group entertained. With an insane number of customisable options and the ability to share the fun with up to eight players, Giant Margarita’s take on the golfing genre is a unique one, if somewhat simple.
