TheSixthAxisMiguel MoranOct 20249/10Playing Kill Knight feels like what happens if you gave a medieval peasant a bottle of soda. It's violent, and unexpected, and adrenaline-charged and fun as hell.

The Punished BacklogDonovan HarrellOct 20249.5/10Kill Knight isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s brutal, unforgiving, and relentless—but it’s also one of the most satisfying action shooters I’ve played in recent memory. The tight, responsive controls, the variety of weapons, and the rewarding progression system all combine to create a game that’s hard to put down. Sure, the difficulty might turn some players away, but for those willing to push through the frustration, Kill Knight offers a rewarding and exhilarating experience. It’s a straightforward action game that doesn’t waste time with elaborate narratives. You’re here to fight, survive, and master the mechanics. And when everything clicks, it’s like dancing with death itself.

ToistoJoonatan ItkonenOct 20243/5 starsThere's a myriad of reasons why I wouldn't recommend Kill Knight for most of my friends, and only a few why I would. But herein lies the beauty of it: Kill Knight does the things right that this particular audience wants, and in doing so it cements itself as one of the best games in its genre. Just as long as you're in that very small subset of gamers who like that kind of thing.

Niche GamerJonathan WhiteNov 20247/10While I can appreciate the idea of a Furi styled boss battle, it just feels out of place considering what the rest of the game is. Maybe there was more planned or maybe they just decided that they didn’t know how to make the boss battle fit naturally into the flow of the arena. Maybe they ran out of time and decided it was good enough as it was. I’m not sure, but at $15, it’s hard to penalize them too much over a slightly disjointed final battle.
