One of the best things I have played this year. Fresh and current without chasing trends. It is kind to its people, and that kindness is the point.

Pure NintendoTrevor GouldSep 20267/10If you have a group of agreeable friends with strong internet connections, plenty of time to spare, and a commitment to see the game through, Big Walk could be highly memorable. We're hoping for a sequel with Gameshare support that's a little more of an exploration puzzle-solving adventure, and a little less walking simulator. The former was our highlight, and once the "walker-talker" novelty wears off, they're what will make the game endure as a showcase of its best.

Nintendo LifeAlex OlneyAug 20268/10Big Walk is a game that is nothing short of outstanding in its design, a co-op adventure that feels like you're 12 years old again and venturing across those fields with your buddies. Its strict reliance on communication and clever puzzle design makes it one of the most rewarding games I think I've ever played, but its technical shortcomings on the Switch 2 version do take the shine off a touch. Thankfully, it's not enough to break what is one of the most unique and intriguing games released this decade, if you're willing to learn to communicate.
