PS3Blog.netMar 201790/100A Pixel Story is a fun and challenging puzzle/platformer with a great look that evolves as you play. Each generation has its own charm and will remind older players of how gaming used to be “back in the day.” Other than a single complaint about how the game’s text is too small and hard to read unless you’re closer to the TV, I definitely recommend that you play this one on PS4.

Cubed3Thom ComptonFeb 20179/10A Pixel Story is as close to perfect as a game can get, but it falls a bit short. It highlights a lot of the issues other Metroidvania games have, and can feel like an aimless walk from time to time. Rest assured, though, every annoyance you stumble across will be paid back in kind, and with a game so fun and enticing, you may find yourself lost in the System, as well.

TrueAchievementsMegan WaltonFeb 20173.5/5 starsA Pixel Story is a fun stroll through a computer that can be quite challenging at times. The story is engaging and the different characters that you meet along the way are both interesting and original (even if they were inspired by past games).
