Gamer EscapeTimothy HyldahlOct 202310/10In short, fans of atmospheric horror owe it to themselves to pick this up. This is absolutely one of the best horror games I’ve played, and while there are a few little issues here and there, this isn’t even the end of development. There’s a more tailored scenario gameplay mode already on the horizon for a later update, and I expect things will only go up from there.

RPG SiteJosh TorresOct 20239/10This turn-based horror RPG took its sweet time to full release, but it was well worth it with an addictive gameplay loop, a compelling battle system, and a stunningly beautiful visual aesthetic.

Digital ChumpsNathaniel StevensOct 20239/10World of Horror from developer panstasz is a wonderful 80s-inspired horror adventure game that brings a roguelite backbone, a turn-based component with a sprinkle of RPG, and plenty of horror that might make you wonder what the heck inspired the devs to create such unsettling tales. The only place the game falls short is in its overwhelming menu system, which is far simpler than it looks once you go through the tutorial.

FourFaceButtonsDavid AedoNov 20234/10As much as I absolutely want to love this game so badly, it is painfully obvious that this "official launch" version is extremely unfinished, with pointless items, dead end quests, and glitches galore. Worst of all, my saved keeps deleting itself occasionally, so I can't even make any real progress if I wanted to. The current state of the game, especially after years of early access, makes a recommendation impossible; this should not have gone up for sale in its condition.
