GameGrinAlana DunitzNov 20238/10Pixel Cafe is a heartwarming game that will not only challenge you but also feels rewarding. With a great pixel look and soundtrack, this is a fun title to check out!

Pure NintendoJan 20247.5/10Overall, Pixel Cafe is a charming cafe time manager with great pixel art. The chill Lo-fi rock soundtrack fits well with the mood, scenes, and themes of each cafe you work at. I'd say its price, $12.99, is fair as the game is pretty well done and has a good amount of content.

LadiesGamers.comYvonne van GelovenDec 2023Pixel Cafe is a challenging time-management strategy game. The farther I got in, the more difficult the levels were, having to do them repeatedly. I felt the controls on the Switch weren’t always logical, and I just couldn’t manage the right sequence in time to keep the customers happy. The storyline is nice, the soundtrack is good, and if you don’t mind the challenge, then this is a very good management game. Not for every moment of the day, though, as you need to feel fresh and energetic to beat the levels!

GameLusterMegan CookeNov 20235/10Pixel Cafe is fun but it is not especially ground-breaking. Fans of time managament simulators will most likely enjoy the experience.

GamepurNora OrnsteinNov 20235.5/10Pixel Café is very cute, if not revolutionary, and enjoyable when it decides to work. It’s got charm, a hearty dose of nostalgia, and simple hypnotic gameplay that really sucks you in. Its low-fi soundtrack sets the mood perfectly, and I genuinely enjoyed playing the game. However, Pixel Cafe— like Pixel’s bushel of bosses— also has some very apparent flaws. The poorly edited script was a distraction, and it lacks one of the bare minimum requirements of a game: the ability to play it fully. The game derailing on the train level is not something that can just be glossed over.
