Atomik: RunGunJumpGun is a tough as nails indie video game that puts a teeth-rattling, gravity-defying weapon in your hands. You’ll use one button to shoot forward, clearing a path, and the other to blast at the ground, propelling yourself into the air so you can helicopter through snaking hallways of spikes, turrets, and saws. Two-buttons worth of terror in one very big, very loud gun.

Nintendo LifeMatthew MasonFeb 20188/10It takes something special to stand out in the ever-growing auto-running platformer genre, but ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun does so with aplomb, copious deaths and a healthy dash of that "just one more time" mentality that'll keep you coming back for more. From its pulse-pounding post-apocalyptic world to its powerful soundtrack, the hours will melt away as you try and collect every last bauble or at the very least just try and make it to the goal unscathed. If brutal arcade-like experiences sound like your cup of tea, you can't go wrong with ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun.

NintendoWorldReportDaan KoopmanFeb 20188/10The big bummer is that it took only a few hours to fully complete the roughly 100 levels in the package. An endless mode would made me really happy, and would've made ATOMIK something I could return to. Still, what's here is made with care, making for an enjoyable experience.

PS3Blog.netMar 201880/100If you're a fan of autorunners and fancy a good challenge then ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun might be just what you need. The game is great on Switch when playing at home or on the go, but I did favor playing this one while in Portable mode for most of my time with the game. I definitely recommend this one since the gameplay mechanics make it an easy game to pick up and play, and a very addictive arcade-style release.

Cubed3Albert LichiFeb 20187/10As far as auto-runners go, ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun is solid. It does not really do anything to win over anyone to partake in games like this but will be worth having around when there are a lot of guests around and can be a DJ understudy for the soundtrack alone. Maybe if the art was repurposed for a more interesting genre, ATOMIK could have been a real winner. Only fans of auto-runners need apply - for everyone else, just go and buy the soundtrack instead.
