TechRaptorShaun JoyDec 202398/100One of the deepest combat systems in a Metroidvania to date, combined with a gripping story and some striking visuals. In a genre that has heavy hitters at the top, Tevi stands among them.

Thumb CultureDec 20235/5 starsThe time I spent playing Tevi gave me an excuse to break out the fightstick. It’s a great game that I hope CreSpirit is hopefully resting before making another great game like this again. It’s another game that is a great way for me to be distracted while waiting for Silksong. With how well Tevi is, I recommend others to try Rabbi-Rabbi as well.

DestructoidAndrea GonzalezDec 20238.5/10TEVI is a pleasant surprise that hopefully doesn’t fly under most radars. Even with my gripes, I can comfortably recommend TEVI to anyone looking for a solid Metroidvania with a bullet hell twist.

Pure NintendoJemma CassonDec 20237.5/10Overall, Tevi is a beautiful-looking side-scrolling metroidvania with bullet hell and RPG elements. A heavy load of dialogue slows things down initially, but there's a deep game hiding beneath the surface with satisfying action and gameplay.

WayTooManyGamesOliver ShelldingDec 20237/10Tevi didn’t disguise what it was: a 2D exploration game with bullet hell elements. I knew this going in, and I was ready for it. The parts that aren’t boss battles showed me a fun world with some great characters, decent crafting and a light meal of a metroidvania: pleasant to map out but it won’t fill you up.
