Tekken 8 is a 3D fighting game and the eighth main installment in the Tekken series, notable for being the first entry to debut on home consoles rather than in arcades. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game introduces the "Heat" system, which rewards aggressive play by granting enhanced moves and chip damage while in an activated state, and replaces the prior "Screw" mechanic with "Tornado" hits.

There's no denying it's a feast for the senses and is full of stuff to do... but if you're like me and haven't found Tekken memorable despite playing it across many years and many platforms, that's unlikely to change here.
