CGMagazineLuna Abyss is an atmospheric and challenging FPS steeped in style and substance in equal measure.
Analog Stick GamingJeff M YoungMay 20269.5/10Luna Abyss’ strength may not be its originality, but it weaves multiple genres and shooters together to craft one of the most engaging titles this year. Fawkes and the collective stories that are presented here come to life with strong writing and brilliant performances, with twists and turns that are genuinely pulled off to sheer perfection. I adored Luna Abyss, and simply want more.

ImpulsegamerNay ClarkJun 20264.4/5Luna Abyss isn't the nonstop adrenaline rush that its bullet hell label might lead some people to expect. Instead, it's a carefully paced blend of exploration, platforming, storytelling, and combat wrapped inside one of the most atmospheric worlds I've explored in recent memory. A normal playthrough will likely take around ten hours, with completionists spending considerably longer uncovering every secret and collectible hidden throughout the Abyss. There are a few areas where I would have liked to see the game push itself further, particularly with some of its late game platforming ideas and certain story developments, but these are relatively minor complaints in an otherwise excellent package. If the premise interests you even a little, it's absolutely worth descending into the Abyss to see what secrets are waiting below.

TheSixthAxisMiguel MoranMay 20267/10Luna Abyss struggles with crafting consistently rewarding gameplay moments, but even the dullest of shooting sections is worth getting through in order to inch further into the wonderfully weird world and unforgettable story of this game.

GamingBoltRavi SinhaMay 20267/10Far from offering the best bullet hell or first-person shooter experience, Luna Abyss instead sticks to its own quirky formula, stubbornly so at times, and mostly succeeds.
