Gaming AgeMatthew PolleselNov 2022It's a pretty solid kart racer, all things considered. It works well, it looks nice enough, the tracks are varied, you have a good selection of characters to pick from: Smurfs Kart isn't going to make you forget Mario Kart, but it also never embarrasses itself, either.
Nintendo LifeChris ScullionNov 20227/10On the track, Smurfs Kart pulls off a surprisingly solid imitation of Mario Kart, with satisfying handling and some wonderful visuals (albeit at 30fps). In the grand leaderboard of Switch karting games, it's not quite going to trouble the podium places, but it's certainly lingering just behind the front-runners and definitely delivers an entertaining time, even if it's as short as its subject matter. A lack of courses is what keeps it from being one of the very best karting games on the Switch, but they certainly haven't Smurfed this one up.

GamesCreedRiley KesslerDec 20224/5Smurfs Kart is a decent and fun game to play, while it may be awfully similar to the ever-so-popular Mario Kart. It is still enjoyable and a safe choice for those who do like games like this. Smurfs Kart is fun, brings its own unique twist, and has lovable characters that complement many ages of players through the generations.

NoobFeedJay ClaassenSep 202330/100Smurfs Kart had a lot of potential to be great if there was a story or even just a bit more of the usual Kart Racer madness added in. It has a few fun and redeeming qualities, like the unique powerups and unique track designs, but Smurfs Kart comes off as a more generic Kart Racer that would’ve been great during the movie releases. It’ll need a lot more substance to gain good traction on the wild roads of gaming.

ExpansiveCait LeeAug 20232.5/5 starsSmurfs Kart is a perfectly fine kart racer with some nice tracks, beautiful art and lovely interpretations of the world through its environments. It’s just unfortunately limited in its content, variety, and creativity when trying to stand apart or alone from anything else in the genre. And a lack of online multiplayer doesn’t help prolong that.
