Read the reviewSimon the Sorcerer Origins is a rare, complete alignment of concept, craft, and heart; a flawless prequel that honours its legacy while confidently reinventing it for today. Every element works in concert: the hand‑drawn animation sings with personality, the writing lands with relentless wit and unexpected tenderness, puzzles are clever without ever feeling cruel, and the audio elevates moments from amusing to unforgettable. This is not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake; it’s a full‑blooded reinvention that keeps the soul of the original intact while offering modern players something genuinely new.

NoobFeedNusrat ChoityNov 202595/100Simon the Sorcerer Origins is a heartfelt effort to bring back one of the best names in adventure gaming. It's full of charm, wit, and nostalgia—a loving tribute to a time when people hunted pixels and made silly jokes. The writing is excellent, the art direction is outstanding, and the voice acting is exceptional. You can tell that the developers really love the source material in every frame.

Cubed3Dec 20256/10It is easy to want to like Simon the Sorcerer Origins at first glance. The artwork is beautiful, and the puzzles are clever and creative. However, Simon sadly comes off as a murder-hobo rather than a charming rogue. Also, while the game's comedy is quite fun in itself, it needs more palate cleansers. As is, this feels like a six-hour-long slapstick show, a genre best served in 30-minute portions.
