DestructoidZoey HandleyJun 20238.5/10Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding them back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

TechRaptorAustin SutherJun 20238.5/10Everything about Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer is insane, and that's why it's so much fun. Though its content can feel a little sparse, you'll be grinning from ear-to-ear the whole time with this boomer shooter. (Review Policy)

TheSixthAxisMiguel MoranAug 20238/10Everyone has had their edgelord phase, whether they want to admit it or not. Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer is an explosion and poop-joke filled journey through those memories, and I loved it. Zayn is crude, and weird, and narcissistic, and way too easy to relate to - he's a reflection of a dorky teenage past, brought to the surface via a fast, fierce, and unforgettable shooter experience.

God is a GeekLyle CarrJun 20234.5/10I expected to love Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance of the Slayer, but the teen humour is painful and the shooting is just okay.

Rapid Reviews UKJoseph BarroodJul 20242.5/5 starsAs a whole, I did not enjoy my experience with Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengeance of the Slayer very much. The weapons are neat and the theming is nice, but the story is nothing special, the game runs poorly, and despite having an adequate game design, the multitude of issues and lack of unique draw makes it hard to recommend this game over others on the console.
