Hardcore GamerJan 20264/5Arknights: Endfield is easily one of the best examples of gacha gaming, thanks to feeling like the gaming comes before the gacha.

Push SquareSammy BarkerFeb 20268/10Familiar yet different, Arknights: Endfield's introduction of automation takes this open world gacha in an unusually compelling direction. While its eye-rolling reliance on proper nouns and lore make its sci-fi plot less compelling than it could be, a strong battle system and outstanding PS5 optimisation give this live service the best possible start.

TheGamerHarry AlstonJan 20263/5 starsI can’t help but be a little disappointed with Arknights: Endfield. On paper, it has the makings of an excellent gacha game, and with some updates in the future, it potentially might become one. But for now, it’s a slow and often tedious experience. I can’t see myself jumping in on launch day like I had originally intended, because I’ve burned out on the experience much quicker than I thought I would.
