Test your rhythm by chopping wood, sticking speeding viruses with forks and playing badminton while flying an airplane, all in time to catchy tunes in this deceptively challenging rhythm game. DestructoidCaitlin CookeJun 20169/10Regardless, I really enjoyed this installment of Rhythm Heaven -- the lighthearted story and silly characters gave it even more charm than its predecessors, and I reveled in its dopiness. I didn’t even mind playing through the old games I had conquered many a time previously. Similar to Katamari Damacy, WarioWare, and other inane Japanese creations, the heart of these games are really in their core, catchy repeatable gameplay. You will laugh, you will cry, you will perfect, you will try again -- but most of all, you will find heavenly flow.

ImpulsegamerNathan MisaNov 20164.6/5The pick-up-and-play nature of Rhythm Paradise Megamix always encouraged me to return for more and beat my previous record, and this is a key strength of its winning formula and why its replay value is so high. The multiplayer is extremely fun and easy to set up with just one copy of the game needed, and with tons of unlockables and throwbacks to older Rhythm Heaven entries, this is a 2016 Nintendo 3DS title which shouldn’t be missed by those who love the weird and quirky of Nintendo’s solid output.

DualShockersKenneth RichardsonJun 20167/10Even if you typically don’t like cutesy, playful titles like these, you’re bound to find yourself dancing along to one tune or another. I recommend this to anyone who likes other “mini-game collection” games or music games.
