Game RevolutionPaul TamburroNov 20143.5/5 starsDefenders of Time proved to be surprisingly deep, and it would have captured my attention for a lengthier period of time if it would have proved to be more popular, thus allowing me to experience its multiplayer component far more than I did.

COGconnectedMatt CullenNov 201470/100Some might get frustrated with the breakneck pace the game can reach; particularly without the ability to pause and take stock of the situation. However, fans of the genre who feel they can keep up with the escalating mayhem will find Defenders of Time to be a solid entry.

PC GamerEmanuel MaibergNov 201445/100Defenders of Time multiplayer mode is conceptually interesting, but ultimately not worth trying because of many technical issues and poorly-executed fundamentals.

Digital ChumpsNick RinkenNov 20145.2/10I would expect that, in a sea of tower defense games, that a tower defense game that someone charges you money for, would have a certain level of quality and finesse, especially since there are plenty of free tower defense games out there that do it really well. Defenders of Time, even with its pretty visuals and some redeeming game mechanics, can't stand well on its own, and is easily beat out by other free tower defense games with very difficult levels and shoddy multiplayer, this game is not a very good example of the tower defense genre.
