Mr. Sleepy Man is a brilliant, passion-fueled project that proves you don't need a massive AAA studio to create a world bursting with life, humor, and heart. Devin Santi has crafted a game that lets you commit absolute atrocities against a town of cartoon animals, while simultaneously delivering a beautiful homage to the golden age of 3D platformers. With its fantastic original soundtrack, responsive controls, and unhinged sense of humor, this is a title you absolutely do not want to sleep on. – ColdMoon
Console CreaturesBobby PashalidisMar 20268/10Mr. Sleepy Man is a wonderfully weird platformer filled with incredibly fun moments. It won't overstay its welcome, but it'll keep you entertained and engaged through the handful of hours it takes to get through credits. For a solo-developer joint, it's filled with creativity, unencumbered by studio oversight, and wears its heart on its sleeve.

MonsterVineSpencer LegacyMar 20264/5Mr. Sleepy Man is a game that will appeal to absolute weirdos – myself included – through and through. It’s a blast to run around, and platform in, and the creatively bizarre world and characters are unlike anything I’ve played before. It can certainly be a bit confusing if you try to play it like a regular platformer, but if you’re willing to wade in the weird, this is one game you won’t forget for a good while.

SmashPadMar 20263.5/5 starsUnexpectedly, Mr. Sleepy Man stands as one of few games that made me reconsider my thoughts partway through my play session. It’s a game that intends to be unapologetically itself with it’s open floor concept for players to cause mayhem, and features hundreds of collectibles to keep players busy for a while. The game does all of this while sporting a unique soundtrack, as well as a nostalgic but enjoyable retro aesthetic with homages to N64 platformers.
