Rate five things you know, from any shelf. Your archetype shows up in about a minute, and gets sharper with every log.

By playing as either a Warrior, a Wizard, a Assassin or a Shaman you have to traverse dungeons, defeat enemies and loot everything you can in order to survive. You can learn new skills in Tomes you find along the way and buy/sell items at shops. The entire game is procedural so you won't find items/enemies in the same place each time you play.

ZTGDDrew LeachmanSep 20158.5/10Roguelike fans will have some fun in Quest for Dungeons, just keep in mind, this roguelike doesn't mess around and when you die, you start over from scratch.

Nintendo LifeLiam DoolanSep 20168/10It's become harder for roguelike games to stand out over the years due to an overpopulated market. As predictable as Quest for Dungeons may be, it is easily one of the superior ones now available on the Wii U eShop. Its quality design makes it easy to pick up and play, and can entertain players for minutes or hours at a time thanks to the unique simultaneous turn-based combat and procedurally generated dungeons. If you're in the mood for yet another roguelike adventure, Quest of Dungeons is a game you should consider.

PS3Blog.netOct 201686/100The 16-Bit pixel art graphics of Quest of Dungeons are really nice and makes the game shine on the Wii U. You have choice of playing the game on the big screen or use Off-TV play. I found that it looks better on the big screen as it had a slightly darker hue on the Wii U Gamepad, but this was not a huge issue. It was very fun to do this Quest of Dungeons review, and I can't wait to see what the dev does for its next game!

TwinfiniteChristopher HadlockMar 20143/5What we have with Quest of Dungeons is a fairly competent Rogue-like that doesn't do much to make it a stand out in the genre. It does a good job of setting up unique classes and skills as well as presenting some difficult bosses. I would like to say that it could be good bit of quick fun, but some little issues with controls and some unnecessary interface issues really hold the game back from being as fun as it should.
