Video ChumsStephen PalmerAug 20168.2/10The only other complaint I have is that it's all over pretty quickly but for such an inexpensive game, I suppose that's to be expected.

Pure NintendoMay 20197/10Overall, Type:Rider is like playing through a work of art with good music, excellent visuals, and an interesting and unique concept, but not without some flaws. It's still a good deal at $2.99 and might be worth a look.

Cubed3Josh Di FalcoAug 20167/10Type:Rider is an enjoyable 2D experience through the history and advent of typography. By combining the haunting and dreary visuals with captivating and clever stage designs, this is a game worth checking out. While not a long game, it can be quickly completed while still providing quite a challenge in terms of puzzle solving. If learning about typography doesn't sound immediately interesting, Type:Rider has surely made it an amusing way to learn and there are some memorable stages that make replaying it for the time trials fun.

Nintendo TimesDavid BuckApr 20195/10MEDIOCRE - Type:Rider is a fun, but unremarkable game that might be worth playing at least once for the history lessons. Those into typography and art should get a kick out of the simplistic premise. Everyone else can probably pass.

GamingTrendElisha DeograciasJul 201960/100If you ever wanted to learn about your favorite fonts, Type:Rider gives you more information than you needed to know. While an uneven platformer that struggles with you from beginning to end, it's a serviceable romp for those that want a slightly relaxing game to play in these summer months.
