Hardcore GamerThomas EllaFeb 20164/5If you're a fan of games like Spelunky and FTL: Faster Than Light — roguelikes with a penchant for precariousness and uncertainty — you owe it to yourself to give Amazing Discoveries in Outer Space a shot. It's an inventive game that skillfully captures the perils and intrigue of space exploration, wrapping it up in an endlessly replayable package.

Geeks Under GraceLJ LoweryFeb 20169/10Amazing Discoveries in Outer Space is not your average space simulator. It has everything one would expect from the genre, but is also inspired by one of the most notable video games ever made. The dialogue from your ship's onboard computer combine with a good soundtrack give this game a unique charm.

GamingTrendJosh DevlinFeb 201655/100Amazing Discoveries in Outer Space is a unique amalgamation of several genres that does not come together in a cohesive way. The platforming and production value are rough, while the exploration is largely uneventful and monotonous.

TheSixthAxisAran SuddiFeb 20166/10Amazing Discoveries In Outer Space is a game that takes no prisoners. You need to be aware of everything to ensure survival, from not using too much fuel to deciding which planet could be worth landing on. While the design of the game is good and there is fun to be had, it comes at the cost of a lot of repetition. There are a couple of things thrown in to mix it up and keep you on your toes, but even those are limited and can't stave off that fact for long. Cosmic Picnic have created a good game and if you like tough roguelikes then you'll have some fun with this.
