KeenGamerGeoff GirardinAug 202110/10The Ramp is a minimalistic, bite-sized skateboarding title from Hyperparadise. With stripped-down controls and nothing to unlock, it captures the core essence of skating. Dropping into the game is as easy and satisfying as dropping into a real half-pipe, and you’ll keep coming back for more.

TheSixthAxisThomas HughesAug 20218/10The Ramp is a minimal skateboarding experience that acts as more of a tool than a video game. At face value, it is an enjoyable experience that's perfect for a quick skate, but those looking for a bit more depth might be better off looking elsewhere.

WhatIfGamingAli HashmiAug 20219/10The Ramp is a polished skateboarding experience, with tight controls, deep gameplay, and some chill tunes. It’s easy to get into, but hard to master, and best played in short bursts. A true digital toy, that you can play with, and get better at while having an absolute blast.

Nintendo LifeOliver ReynoldsMar 20226/10Nevertheless, for its relatively low price, The Ramp does control reasonably well, and although the range of tricks on offer is undoubtedly quite limited, there's plenty of fun to be had here if you're not bothered about gaining scores or doing tasks like collecting S-K-A-T-E tokens. If you're after something a bit meatier, then you'll be better off going for something like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, or OlliOlli World, but The Ramp does have a certain minimal charm which we enjoyed.

Pure NintendoKaelyn DaughertyApr 20226/10The Ramp was made for a specific purpose and it serves that purpose. I just wish I had more fun doing it. However, if you're into skateboarding and don't care about all the extra stuff, you might want to check this one out. Otherwise, wait for the next Tony Hawk Remaster.
