Thumb CultureOct 20234/5 starsThief Simulator 2 is a great improvement on the first instalment. I enjoyed playing the story missions and scoping out houses and found it fun to run from the police station. I love the lockpicking mini-game. It’s easy and fun to do. I also love that the game doesn’t take itself too seriously, leading to plenty of comical moments true to any good simulator game. For simulator lovers, fans of the first game, or a player who loves stealthy games, this game is for you.

WayTooManyGamesKyle NicolDec 20236.5/10Thief Simulator 2 is not a bad game, per se. Far from it in fact, with its engaging central premise and core ideas giving a satisfying stealth experience that we don’t see often. However, everything feels surface level and just a little too janky. It reuses way too much of the original and doesn’t making any significant improvements where it was really needed. But there is still some fun to be had with it, if you’re looking for a basic stealth experience.
