Play as the ultimate digital underdog in the Adventures of Pip,an action-platformer with a fresh gameplay twist inside a retro 32-bit world. Alas, Pip is an unlikely 1-pixel hero yet has the unique ability to absorb the pixels of his defeated enemies to evolve into three different forms.

TechnoBuffaloRon DuwellJun 2015It's a solid foundation, and if Adventures of Pip proves to be as financially successful as it deserves to be, I would like to see a sequel that promotes more exploration, ala Super Mario World. Branching paths, secret exits, "expert" levels. You know the drill. Adventure of Pip is a wonderful little platformer and further proof that Kickstarter can help fund some of life's more pleasurable joys. $14.99 is a steal for one of my favorite games so far in 2015.

GameGrinArtura DawnJan 20229/10Adventures of Pip's unique mechanic makes it stand out from the rest of the platformers I've played; the game makes wonderful use of the mechanic. Challenging enough to not make it a memory platformer but also not dull, this game is sure to charm any fans of the genre.

Gaming NexusSean ColleliSep 20158.5/10Adventures of Pip is a solid platformer with a clever premise. Those two aspects combine to make a game that is deceptively simple, charming and memorable.

PlayStation LifeStyleBen TarrantAug 20155.5/10It's an undeniably cute platforming adventure that's sure to provide a good few hours of enjoyment, but this is mostly due to it not stepping out of the norm. The Adventures of Pip does little wrong simply by not doing much at all, its colorful stages, tight mechanics and often humorous writing are all disappointingly dulled by an overwhelming and unshakeable sense of déja vu.

Nintendo LifeBrett Posner-FerdmanSep 20206/10Overall, Adventures of Pip makes the biggest mistake a game can make: being boring. While the game had a lot of potential, it is brought down by being unmemorable. A great soundtrack cannot justify bland level design, a restrictive bit-switching gimmick, and a lacklustre story. There are far more imaginative and innovative platformers on Switch that deserve a look over this.
