EurogamerKatharine CastleDec 20245/5Smart, fun and so very Indiana Jones, The Great Circle is a stealth action tour de force that marks a bold new era for MachineGames.

VG247Alex DonaldsonFeb 20255/5 starsEvery now and then, a game comes along that just full-on surprises you. I love the Indiana Jones movies (at least, the first three) and so always had an interest in this game. I ultimately sort of expected a fun bit of inconsequential blockbuster, though. The sort of thing you play over the Christmas season and promptly forget about. The best thing I can say about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is that I know I’m going to be thinking about this for a long time yet.

ZTGDMay 20265.5/10But when it comes to translating Indy to an interactive medium, that’s a tough nut to crack, especially when your game is more about trying to recreate the movie experience than game-ifying the essence of what an Indiana Jones story is.

TheGamerEric SwitzerDec 20243.5/5 starsIt’s a fun story with some decent gameplay variety that’s authentically Indy. You won’t miss much by strictly sticking to the main quest, and in fact, your experience will be better for it. It’s a shame the rest of it falls so flat.
