The realisation of the world and puzzle boxes of The Room VR: A Dark Matter, afterwards shortened to The Room VR, thrust the user into a virtual space alongside various locations through five or so chapters. In The Room VR, you play as a detective, investigating the disappearance of an Egyptologist, who worked at The British Institute of Archaeology, London, in 1908.
