CompletexboxDavid LawNov 201987/100The Fisherman: Fishing Planet is a true masterpiece. Making use of excellent physics and game development tools to produce a fantastic representation of the sport of Fishing. Offering that tranquil get away right in your living room. With sublime easy to use controls, and an abundance of detail for the true fisherman in you. Quite simply breath-taking.

SelectButtonMike de LeonOct 20198/10Overall, once you get used to the nuances of the user interface, and managing your money, Fishing Planet is the best fishing simulation game out there. It has an extensive collection of fishing equipment, species of fish, and locations. The steep learning curve can be a deterrent, but fishing is all about having patience and fortitude.

ShacknewsChris JarrardOct 20196/10At its best, The Fisherman leaves you amped up from an intense fight with a river monster you’ve been trying to coax out of its hole for hours. At its worst, it feels like an attempt to quickly cash-in on work done for the freemium version that came before it.

TwinfiniteZach StevensOct 20193/5The Fisherman – Fishing Planet is a tough sell for anyone who has poured time and money into their previously released free to play game, Fishing Planet. However, for newcomers to the series that want to jump in, The Fisherman – Fishing Planet is a good place to start with a reasonable asking price that offers some of the most authentic fishing experiences you can find.
