ImpulsegamerChris O'ConnorAug 20204.6/5I've been enjoying the game a lot… more than I was expecting to in fact… which is not to say that I thought I wouldn't like it… just that I've been going back to it, time and time again… normally I'd go from one game to another… but I've just been sinking hours into this and can see myself putting quite a few more into it.

The Digital FixAndrew ShawSep 20208/10Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars will not threaten any of the giants of the turn-based strategy games but for console players, it offers an accessible alternative with a fun dark fantasy twist.

PlayStation LifeStylePaulmichael ContrerasNov 20207.5/10Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a strategy game that has the perfect atmosphere for the season we currently find ourselves in, and we're not strictly talking about Halloween here! Some cumbersome menu navigation and mostly unchallenging AI means that without even local hot-seat multiplayer, players looking for more challenging opponents will unfortunately need to look elsewhere. Still, console gamers who are desperate for more strategy games should look to Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars to get their fix, and at a wallet-friendly price point of $49.99 to boot.

Rapid Reviews UKNov 20202/5 starsTake command of the legions of troops loyal to one of three Vampire blood lines. Drawing on pretty much every cliché and gothic trope, you can imagine Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars liberally applies its source material to everything that it does. The question, therefore, is how well does the game use its inspiration and does it make sense?

Checkpoint GamingTom QuirkSep 20205/10I still feel like Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars has some potential behind its flaws. The idea of a more streamlined strategy game, with less of a resource management and empire-building focus, is something that could be appealing for newcomers to the strategy genre. However, its huge maps and clunky combat drag the experience down. Furthermore, without multiplayer or a map editor, there is not really much more to the experience than the campaign, which is only somewhat engaging. Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars certainly has enjoyable elements, but feels difficult to recommend to fans of the strategy genre.
