Hardcore GamerMatt HookOct 20244/5Throne and Liberty delivers impressive character progression systems, buttery smooth and satisfying combat, and captivating story for an MMORPG. It may lack a few features to keep me coming back again and again for more, but it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience

GameSpaceEd OrrOct 20248/10An old school MMO dragged up to a modern standard. NCSoft and Amazon have a distinctly Korean fantasy adventure finessed for a global launch. The result is n enjoyable leap into a vibrant world that is more than worth the total cost of zero dollars down.

But Why Tho?Arron KluzSep 20243/10I have no doubt that Throne and Liberty will find a niche in the MMO community that it somehow speaks to. And I’m happy for those people that they will find something to enjoy here. But for most players, I don’t think Throne and Liberty will have anything valuable.

Push SquareIssy van der VeldeOct 20245/10Throne and Liberty is an ongoing game, so the story could become more fleshed out, the mechanics you use to interact with the world could become more nuanced, and the technical issues could be fixed. But as it all stands now, it's just an okay way to dip your toe into a relatively console-friendly MMORPG that doesn't demand endless amounts of your time for you to enjoy - although there are better games to play with your precious hours. If you're looking for something deeper than that, though, you won't find it here.
