Windows CentralAsher MadanApr 20195/5 starsOverall, Mortal Kombat 11 is a stellar fighting game and is one of the best ones ever made in my opinion. The depth and variety it offers are unparalleled, even by the likes of Injustice 2, another NetherRealm creation. There are so many characters to customize and master — with many more on the horizon — which should keep you enthralled for months to come.

PlayStation UniverseJohn-Paul JonesApr 20199.5/10Stuffed with masses of modes and a veritable avalanche of stuff to do, Mortal Kombat 11 is the best the series has ever looked, sounded and most importantly, played. Oh and it doesn't hurt either that it just so happens to have one of the best story modes ever made, too.

TheReviewGeekGreg WheelerJun 20195/10It's a bitter pill to swallow because Mortal Kombat 11 is actually a really fun and enjoyable fighter. It's gory, gruesome and full of some of the most absurd, crazy fatalaties in the series' storied history. The fighting has multiple layers of strategy too, ranging from X-Ray moves, counters, interactive environments and more. This game should be a high 7/10 or even an 8/10 but I just cannot recommend something with such predatory microtransactions in. Mortal Kombat 11 could be great, but it suffers a gruesome fatality at the hands of its microtransaction-riddled infrastructure.

Daily MirrorJasper PickeringApr 20193/5 starsIf you are a diehard Mortal Kombat fan and you must own this game just for the story and local competitive play then this review isn’t going to stop you from purchasing it. But until NetherRealm fixes its issues with connectivity and offers an experience that is friendly for consumers you are better off waiting for it to lower in price.
