A hypnotic video game about music, geometry and flow. Vectronom is a music platformer. The game combines challenging platforming with rhythm based gameplay. The architecture of each level changes with the music, players have to memorize patterns and overcome obstacles while dancing through the game world. Unlike other beat matching games where the player has to follow prompts, in Vectronom players have a larger degree of freedom while playing.

Pure NintendoJaime CarrilloJul 20199/10Can a game be tense and relaxing at the same time? Vectronom rides this line pretty well, offering a puzzle game that is as gorgeous as it is challenging. When played with headphones, it's as immersive as any puzzle game has ever been.

NintendoWorldReportMitchell PartonJul 20199/10The only downside of Vectronom is that it should only take a few hours to complete. Each beat of this experience is so jam-packed and the gameplay concepts switch up so frequently that I would love each one to be explored more. Don't let that stop you from exploring what's here, though — this gem is a design feat and one of the most delightful platforming games I've ever played.

GamingTrendElisha DeograciasMay 201985/100Vectronom is a stylish rhythm-puzzler with delightfully unforgiving difficulty and a fist-pumping electronic soundtrack. This is one game you should definitely try out if you want a musically-inclined challenge for your Switch.

Digitally DownloadedMatt SainsburyJun 20193/5 starsVectronom is well made and attractive. It's got a strong sense of minimalist style, and as difficult as it is, it's also entirely fair, and once you've learned its rules and behaviour, it becomes comfortable, albeit difficult, to play.
