Rate five things you know, from any shelf. Your archetype shows up in about a minute, and gets sharper with every log.

Your job as the architect and developer is to build world-famous skyscrapers that will be the envy of the entire city, masterpieces of art and engineering. But a skyscraper is more than just steel and glass, it’s an intricate ecosystem, full of people that live and work in the building. They become a complex machine that needs your steady hand to keep it running smoothly and efficiently.

GamePittRob PittOct 20189/10Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition is one of the best resource management simulation games I’ve played. The 29 Scenarios will keep you busy for hours upon hours as you work your way through them and aim to obtain all three medals in each case, but the sandbox mode is where you’ll spend the majority of your time. You’ll easily lose an undetermined amount of time as you strive to build the best tower you can, based on the knowledge of all your previous failures. Every playthrough will be a new adventure for you, with the same challenges yet an infinite way to go around completing them.

Nintendo TimesAustin EastwoodNov 20188.5/10Project Highrise: Architect’s edition is one of the best simulation games I have ever played. With endless content and extremely fun gameplay, I can see many people who purchase this game sinking many hours into it, while enjoying every moment. I greatly recommend a purchase of this wildly fun game.

COGconnectedPatrick AndersonNov 201860/100There’s lots to do in this game, there’s lots of challenge and it all works pretty smoothly. But Project Highrise just feels flat and never achieves the “just one more turn” level of addiction that I love in the best sim titles.

Push SquareNov 20187/10Project Highrise: Architect's Edition is a real success in the building sim genre. It's easy application of a daunting set of tools and simple to understand, difficult to master gameplay make it a really fun experience. The variety of backdrops and modes make each pitch feel unique, but the real fun comes from the trial and error of trying out different builds and the pride of seeing your once little build growing into a skyscraper with four Casinos and several penthouses, making you thousands by the day. Though the look is dull and there are a few minor annoyances, that doesn't take away from the stellar and smart game design that makes a repeat visit to this gem a guarantee.
