The peaceful and widely admired marriage of Dr. Yanuar and Rani is suddenly shaken. Dubbed a model husband by his largely unfaithful medical colleagues, Yanuar is faced with two complicated situations almost simultaneously. First, Lia repeatedly begs him for an abortion, which he steadfastly refuses. Second, Patricia—the kept mistress of a powerful man named Primodarso—unexpectedly disrupts the exemplary doctor's routine life.
