Adolf Hitler (German pronunciation: [ˈadɔlf ˈhɪtlɐ]) was an Austrian-born German politician and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known as the Nazi Party.
