The Geese & the Ghost is the debut studio album by English musician, guitarist, and songwriter Anthony Phillips, released in March 1977 on Hit & Run Music in the UK and Passport Records in the US. Recorded intermittently between 1974 and 1976 following Phillips's departure from Genesis, the album blends pastoral progressive rock and British acoustic folk with lyrical themes and titles conjuring romantic, historical English imagery.
